Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | June 30th, 2015
Diesel and gasoline were up several cents today but overall demand for diesel is low and refinery output remains strong for both products. We’re not seeing a strong market move in one direction or the other, mostly due to the volatility caused by economic news in Greece, Iran, and China.
Gas is very tight coming into Albuquerque with suppliers scrambling to meet contract minimums on the last day of the month. Diesel supply is good.
We are supplying eastern New Mexico with gas from Lubbock and surrounding terminals. The Borger refinery is experiencing some outages, contributing to some tightness around the region.
No significant update in this area.
