Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | July 12th, 2016
Worldwide economic events are sending energy prices swinging back and forth. News surrounding the European economy, world wide oil production, and rig counts have been the top culprits. Gas and diesel took a .04 cpg swing up today.
Diesel and gas are loosening up in the Albuquerque metro as the region is getting some relief from shortages. Refined fuels in the Group 3 spot market (which includes New Mexico and much of the midwest) moved up today after about a $.20 cpg drop since February.
Fuel supply has loosened up in West Texas as the magellan pipeline problem has been fixed. Gas remains tight in Artesia due to unforeseen refinery issues but we do have product available. Call ahead today to assure same day delivery of your fuel.
