September 10, 2013 | Weekly Fuel Market Update
The market has been volatile with daily news of possible responses to the Syrian use of chemical weapons. Swings of four cents or more were common last week.
Prices ended down overall last week by several cents and started this week with a big move down – over .11 cents on gas. On days when the market is trending down, Desert Fuels will suggest that you buy the next day if possible and save a few cents per gallon.
Diesel has tightened up as major suppliers are limiting product to contract customers only. Prices have followed the national swings.
We have good product availability in Tucson and Phoenix and very competitive prices on diesel this week in Tucson. Gas has been available but prices have been on the high side.
