Russia’s involvement in the Ukraine contributed to fears of worldwide supply interruption this week. Russia is the world’s largest producer of crude oil and the Ukraine is strategic to the flow of that supply.
Prices fluctuated in Spot Region Group 3 in the last few days, rising more than .05 cents per gallon and falling by that same margin within the last 24 hours.
We have plenty of product in El Paso as well as at all of our terminals in West Texas including Amarillo, Lubbock, and Odessa. Product has loosened over the last week but prices are very volatile. When you see large swings in the market, be sure to plan in advance for your loads. We can let you know the best time to buy to get the best possible price.
