Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | June 1st, 2016
Nationally
Crude oil can’t seem to punch through the $50 barrier even with a trend of four consecutive months of rising prices. Demand is high with the summer driving season and reports of reduced production could send prices in the 50s in June.
New Mexico
Supply looks good around the state. No terminal issues to speak of at the moment.
West Texas
Electrical issues in Lubbock caused slowdowns over the weekend. All terminals are back up now.
In El Paso we have seen no planned or unplanned outages over the past few weeks, although gas has tightened up some. Desert Fuels has plenty of 9lb gas that can be used outside of El Paso county. 7lb gas in the county is limited.
Arizona
No significant update this week.
Colorado
No significant market changes this week.
