November 26, 2013 | Weekly Fuel Market Update
Prices for both gas and diesel spiked nationally last week as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday. Averages are still reasonably low compared to the last several years. After the holiday week, prices are expected to slightly drop or at least remain fairly flat for the next couple of months.
New Mexico is still fairly tight on product, but more allocation is becoming available each week. Desert Fuels has maintained a good level of product and can transport throughout the state as needed.
West Texas / El Paso
Supply continues to improve in these areas and prices are expected to come down slightly after the Thanksgiving holiday. Ice storms over the past weekend caused carrier delays, but deliveries eventually made it through.
Product allocation continues to be tight in Arizona. Call us in advance to be sure we’re able to get you fuel when you need it.
Colorado – Front Range
Winter weather has officially made its entrance and #1 diesel and winter blend is now available.
