Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | February 4th, 2015
Cold weather and unplanned refinery shutdowns contributed to three-day gains in the fuel market over the last week. Despite refineries in Texas and around the country where workers went on strike, Desert Fuels has been able to keep diesel and gasoline flowing at competitive prices around the Southwest.
The state continues to experience some tightness in the market caused by a local refinery planned turnaround that began in January and continues into February.
An abundance of diesel in the El Paso market is allowing Desert Fuels to move fuel at very competitive prices.
No significant update in this area.
