Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | November 25th, 2015
Wholesale fuel prices remain at their record 5-year lows going into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Fears of escalating conflict in the middle-east caused a bump in prices yesterday but were wiped away today with reminders of high inventory reports.
Product has been a bit tighter around the state over the last few weeks, with prices in Group 3 and the Gulf Coast Spot Regions mostly following the movements on the NYMEX. Local refineries have experienced some slowing due to unplanned maintenance.
Supply is fairly good from Amarillo to El Paso. With multiple supply options at each terminal region in West Texas, Desert Fuels is positioned to meet any fuel needs that you have.
The region is loosening up as terminal problems in Las Vegas and have improved lately, freeing up more supply in Phoenix.
