Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | July 14th, 2015
The national fuel market remains uncertain due to the financial situation in Greece, the Chinese stock market, and the nuclear deal with Iran. All have had and continue to have an impact on the overall supply and demand of fuel in the US.
Local refineries continue to experience outages that are causing major shortages in gasoline. Diesel supply is also tight statewide as fuel isn’t being pushed through the pipeline like it is when refineries are producing at normal levels.
The tightness in gas for El Paso has gotten even tighter over the last week. The availability of 7lb. gas required in El Paso County is all but depleted. Supply for diesel fuel remains strong in El Paso and Desert Fuels prices have been very competitive.
Product in the Odessa area remains good while Lubbock and Amarillo are both experiencing some tightness.
Colorado Front Range
Supply for both gas and diesel in the Denver area are both good. Check out our prices as we have been able to secure additional supply in the area to become even more competitive.
