Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | December 23rd, 2015
Crude, diesel, and gas prices increased today mainly due to a report of lower inventories and demand going into the holiday weekend. Trading on the NYMEX will close early on Christmas Eve and will be closed on Christmas Day. Desert Fuels is available to take orders and answer any of your questions 24/7, every day of the year.
Terminals in Albuquerque, Moriarty, Gallup, Bloomfield and Artesia are without disruption and fairly smooth despite outages in surrounding states.
Cloudy fuel shut down the Magellan terminal in El Paso last week. That has caused a squeeze on diesel product in the area. We have multiple options, but it’s always smart to line up your loads as early as possible.
Phoenix and Tucson terminals are currently running well with no expected outages through the end of the year.
