Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | December 28th, 2015
Fuel prices were down today after a week of gains. A massive winter storm put a halt on fuel deliveries on Saturday and Sunday in the Southwest.
Terminals in Albuquerque, Moriarty, and Artesia all experienced temporary shut downs due to the winter storm that swept in over the weekend. The Southeastern part of the state was hit the hardest with the Artesia refinery snowed in for several days.
Terminals were shut down from Amarillo to El Paso over the weekend. Midland / Odessa terminals were opening back up on Monday.
Terminals in Phoenix and Tucson were spared from the storm and there are no disruptions at this time.
