Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | January 25th, 2016
The market rallied last week with two consecutive days of gains, then fell on Monday back to below the $30/barrel mark. Chinese economic reports brought back fear to traders over the weekend. Supply around the Southwest is fairly good for this time of year when many refineries are experiencing shutdowns due to planned maintenance.
Artesia is still tight, but Albuquerque terminals have good supply. Order fuel for tomorrow, as the market is fairly flat today.
El Paso is gradually picking back up after the Magellan terminal came back online last week. We have good supply of both diesel and gasoline.
No significant update this week.
