That is why we quote a competitive price and stick to it. For example, we send out our quote in the evening, the price is effective for the next day, all day, and no matter what happens to the market, whether it goes up by 20 cents, we still stick to our quoted price. etc. Many companies will quote one price on paper but once the load is ordered and perhaps even delivered, it is not what was offered. If you order a full load of unleaded for today, the supplier only delivers half of the load and not until the next morning. Then you get the billed for the next days price and not for when your ordered it for. Then when the customer tries to correct this issue with the supplier, it becomes an unwanted task that needs to be done. I feel this is extremely unacceptable! When a price is quoted, that should be what you pay. There should be no surprises surrounding this experience. And if by chance a mistake is made, it should be corrected immediately.
