March 12, 2013 | Weekly Fuel Market Update
Prices were down nationally by about 5 cents per gallon as refineries come out of turnaround and more product is on the market. This trend could last a few more weeks before the annual Spring-time peaks in prices.
Tight supply and allocations continued in New Mexico and El Paso but prices still followed the national downward trend last week, dropping by about 5 cents per gallon. Continue to order sooner than later this week and line up your loads in advance as much as possible, as product is still very tight in New Mexico due to local refinery maintenance. Desert Fuels is positioned well with plenty of fuel to meet your needs even in this tight market.
West Texas / El Paso
As refineries come back online, supply will get better in the next few weeks and prices will continue on a slight decline. The area still remains tight on allocation as suppliers are taking care of contract customers. Order sooner than later. Desert Fuels has the ability to bring fuel from multiple markets and from many states, and continues to impress customers with available fuel and great prices.
