Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | January 28th, 2015
Last week, 28 states sold unleaded for under $2.00 per gallon retail. We have also seen six consecutive months where the monthly average of crude oil has decreased. Could this be the bottom of the market? Some are saying that crude could go from here to $200 a barrel in the next year.
With a local refinery planned shutdown slowing down product with some suppliers, the availability of supply has not decreased. The cold weather has caused some delays in the state with delivery and issues at loading racks, but overall things are running smoothly.
Desert Fuels has plenty of diesel in El Paso with the most competitive pricing in the area.
No significant update in this area.
