Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | July 22nd, 2014
Southwest refineries continue to have production troubles. Prices on the futures market (NYMEX) have been slowly going down. Since last Monday, we have seen gas decrease .05 cents and diesel decrease.03 cents.
Supply is slowly getting better in New Mexico bringing hope that prices will continue to decrease. Local refineries are working hard to keep up with Summer demand and compensating for Texas refineries that are having trouble at this time.
Lines are finally shorter at the Odessa Magellan terminal which has increased throughput in the area.
Desert Fuels has very good supply and competitive pricing in Amarillo, Lubbock, and El Paso where diesel and gasoline are in good supply.
