Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | May 26th, 2016
Prices for wholesale fuels are trading at their highest levels since September 2015. The EIA released production outputs that showed a major reduction in production this week.
Supply looks good. No terminal issues to speak of at the moment.
El Paso is seeing good levels of gas and diesel with no outages or terminal disruptions. The Artesia rack is now up and running at full capacity. Combined with a low price, it is the best area to get fuel from at the moment. No planned outages and plenty of fuel is creating a competitive environment in the area.
Fuel prices are a little out of the market. Desert Fuels has the ability to pull product from other regions giving more options to Arizona customers.
The retail gas average for Colorado is $2.22. The diesel average is $2.19 moving along with national trends.
