Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | May 7th, 2015
Diesel and gasoline prices climbed steadily last week and this week as demand has increased while supply has decreased. Diesel seemed to be especially rallying – trading up .06 cents per gallon at times this week.
Gas continues to be in limited supply throughout the state, yet prices are following the national trend. Refined fuel prices continue to climb in the Group 3 Spot Market.
Gas is extremely tight in El Paso. We’re seeing tight supply from Amarillo to Odessa as refiners are making new summer gasoline products and gas is competing with diesel for shipping space on the pipelines.
No significant update this week.
