Weekly Fuel Market Update (WFMU) | May 3rd, 2016
Worries over higher than expected crude oil inventories and concern of another glut in supply sent prices down each of the last three days.
Albuquerque, Moriarty and Bloomfield have been in good supply over the last week. There have been very few interruptions to supply lately other than some tightness of diesel in Gallup.
Artesia is fairly wet at the moment but has been plagued with rack issues causing 3-4 hour waits for carriers. Same-day loads are more difficult than usual, but prices in Artesia are some of the best in the region if you are able to order early.
No significant update this week.
There were some diesel issues early last week that resulted in terminal outages in the Denver area, but the issue seamed to be resolved later in the week. Prices have followed the trend on the NYMEX.
