Efficiently and infallibly perform tax and accounting tasks to optimize the Desert Fuels sales cycle.

Q1: Why do you love your job so much?
A: I enjoy working through daily challenges alongside of a great team of hard working and fun people.

Q2: What makes you tick?
A: My heart and my faith.

Q3: Outside of Desert Fuels, what else do you do?
A: I like to cook, go on walks with the dogs, travel, watch HGTV, garden, and hang out with my friends and family.

Background:

A “Jill of all trades,” Liz ventured to Desert Fuels after successful careers in teaching and the military. Liz separated from the Army National Guard after seven years of being an Intelligence Analyst, including a tour in Iraq.

Liz also taught most subjects as an Elementary and Middle School teacher. While teaching, Liz attended night school to become an accountant. She brings a breadth of experience with her as the newest member of the Desert Fuels accounting team. Liz eagerly accepts new challenges in the accounting department, willing to help in any way she can.

My Pets
 Two Boarder Collies: Jerry Lee (named after Jerry Lee Lewis because he always barks when he hears Rock n’ Roll).  And, Logan, who talks so much I think he’s speaking English.

What are you best at?
 Loving my husband.

What awards or contests have you won?
 I once won a competition for the best baklava.

If I owned a gas station I would name it…
 Peanut butter and petroleum.
